Product Information: Winemaker's notes: Morage red is a blend of approximately 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. It is aged in the finest French Oak barrels for approximately 20 months and then is bottle aged for over a year prior to release. The first commercial release was in 1993 of the 1989 vintage. Robert Parker in the December 1995 issue of "The Wine Advocate" stated that, "Moraga could easily be mistaken for a top-flight Bordeaux".
