Subtle aromas of chocolate, orange peel and flowers. Full- to medium-bodied, with balanced, silky tannins and a pretty finish. Not a big wine, but pleasing and friendly. Subtle and beautiful. Best after 2012.
This elegant, deep ruby/purple-tinged 2006 offers copious quantities of sweet mocha, black cherry, and black currant fruit as well as a hint of powdered rock. A nicely concentrated, medium-bodied, finesse-styled St.-Emilion, it exhibits sweet tannin as well as the potential to evolve for 12-15 years.
Good ruby-red. Pure, high-pitched aromas of blackberry, violet and mint. Supple but vinous, with an attractively juicy quality to flavors of black fruits, licorice, violet and minerals. Finishes with a fine dusting of tannins and a note of iron. On the light side but nicely balanced and attractive.
