Effusive aromas of bilberry, cherry and raspberry pick up soy and eucalyptus flavors as this dense, sturdy red unfolds on the palate. Tight and structured, leaving a mouthwatering impression of sweet fruit on the finish. Best from 2016 through 2030.
Good bright, dark red. Smoky raspberry, menthol and mint on the rather exuberant nose, accented by black pepper. Densely packed, plump and glyceral, with strong acidity giving shape to the flavors of strawberry, minerals, herbs and brown spices. Really spreads out on the back end.
