Dawnine Dyer's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is fabulous. Intensely aromatic and finely sculpted, but also resonant in the glass, the 2014 has a lot going on. Today, the fruit is understandably quite primary. With another few years, though, the 2014 should be a real jewel of a wine. Inky blue/purplish fruits, graphite, lavender and menthol are laced into the exquisite, delicate finish. Dyer remains one of the true undiscovered gems of Napa Valley. This is a style that will appeal most to classically leaning palates. -Antonio Galloni, Vinous
