The 2018 Chablis Fourchaume 1er Cru offers attractive Nashi pear and Granny Smith apple aromas, a touch of sea spray emerging with aeration. The palate is taut and fresh with a fine bead of acidity, lively and lightly spiced. A hint of ginger appears toward the energetic finish. This is an excellent Fourchaume from Nathalie and Gilles Fèvre. -Neal Martin, Vinous
