2014 Chateau Ormes de Pez 750ml
Wally's price: $33
The wine has the firm tannins of the appellation, moderated by the black-currant fruitiness of the vintage. Spice and the dry structure will allow it to age well. With the same winemaking team as Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac, it will age well. Drink from 2022.

2015 Chateau La Dauphine 750ml
Wally's price: $27
The 2015 La Dauphine is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Having vexed about the 2014 last year, the 2015 is a much 'happier' sample, pure and quite elegant with black cherries, blueberry and cassis fruit, the new oak nicely integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, crisp blackberry and bilberry fruit with a healthy sprinkle of white pepper to spice up the finish. This is an excellent Fronsac, although it deserves 4-6 years in bottle.

2016 Chateau Fuisse Pouilly Fuisse Tete de Cru 750ml
Wally's price: $40
Sourced from more than 40 parcels across the Château de Fuissé vineyard, this wine is beautifully structured, rich and with layers of white fruits and peaches. The mineral texture gives a nervy edge that will soften over the next few months. Drink from 2021.

2016 Landmark Pinot Noir Overlook 750mL
Wally's price: $25
A powerful and structured wine with notes of red cherry, raspberry and gentle spicy oak. Well structured with velvety tannins.

2017 Catena Malbec
Wally's price: $20
I compared the 2016 with the 2017 Catena Malbec, one of their most popular bottlings. Even though the vintage was not as cool as 2016, the wine keeps great freshness and elegance and is very harmonious, with integrated oak and focused flavors. 1.2 million bottles produced and bottled in three different lots.

2016 Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

2016 Produttori del Barbaresco
Wally's price: $47
This beautifully balanced vintage is characterized by a tight inner core of fruit that underlines the graceful aging capacity of these wines. The 2016 is shaping up to be one destined for long cellar aging. Now in its youth, the wine offers wild berry, rose and licorice aromas.

2016 Hilliard Bruce Chardonnay Estate 750mL
Wally's price: $45
The 2016 Chardonnay Estate is gorgeous. Bright, focused and light on its feet, the 2016 has so much to offer. In the glass, the Estate is lifted, brilliant and finely cut. Tangerine, hazelnut and floral notes are laced into the supple, silky finish.

2018 Chateau Gassier Le Pas du Moine Rose 750mL
Wally's price: $25
Produced from organically grown grapes, this crisply textured wine is grown in the cru vineyards of Mont Saint-Victoire. Its lively acidity is enhanced by the inclusion of some white grapes (Rolle and Ugni Blanc) in the blend.

2017 Guigal Cotes du Rhone Blanc 750mL
Wally's price: $16
The 2017 Côtes du Rhône Blanc has lots of Grenache Blanc as well as other permitted varieties. Notes of white flowers, citrus, and honeysuckle all emerge from this medium-bodied, vibrant white that has good acidity and a clean finish. As usual, it over-delivers.
